Ariana Grande opens up about her beauty routine and cosmetic procedures, setting the record straight in Vanity Fair’s lie detector test series.

Ariana Grande has finally cleared up the speculation surrounding her cosmetic history—using none other than a lie detector machine to back her up.

The “7 Rings” singer, known for her iconic lyrics, may have sung “I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it,” but in reality, her experience with cosmetic procedures has been far less dramatic than rumors have suggested.

During an interview with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo for Vanity Fair’s lie detector test series, Ariana confirmed the truth behind the whispers.

“I’ve had fillers and Botox,” she revealed during the Sept. 30 episode. “But I stopped like four years ago. That’s it.” The polygraph confirmed she was telling the truth.

The rapid-fire round of questions didn’t stop there, as Cynthia playfully probed deeper into Ariana’s beauty choices.

Nose job? “No.”

Breast augmentation? “No, can you imagine?”

Facelift? “No, not yet. I’m open to it.”

When asked about a fox eye lift, Ariana admitted she didn’t even know what it was until people speculated she had one. As for a chin implant? “How do they even do that?” she asked in disbelief.

In a lighthearted moment, Cynthia asked if Ariana had ever undergone a BBL (Brazilian butt lift). Without missing a beat, Ariana quipped, “Yes.” Of course, that one was a lie.

The exchange was a welcome relief for Ariana, who has faced online scrutiny over her appearance for years. “Thank goodness,” the former Victorious star said, clearly happy to set the record straight.

When the polygraph operator confirmed her honesty, she joyfully exclaimed, “This is the best day of my life. Take that, YouTube people!”

While she was open about her past cosmetic procedures, Ariana was quick to express her support for those who choose to enhance their appearance. “I fully support anyone who does these things,” she said. “Whatever makes people—whether they’re women, men, or non-gender conforming—feel beautiful should be celebrated.”

This wasn’t the first time Ariana has been candid about her cosmetic choices.

In a September 2023 video for Vogue, the 31-year-old explained why she stopped getting lip fillers and Botox. “I stopped in 2018 because it just felt like too much,” she shared. “I felt like I was hiding.”

Becoming emotional, Ariana reflected on how her perspective on beauty has evolved over the years. “I didn’t expect to get emotional,” she said through tears. “For a long time, beauty was about hiding. Now, I feel like maybe it’s not.”

The singer also touched on the connection between beauty and aging. “I want to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines,” she mused. “I hope my smile lines get deeper because it means I’m laughing more.”
