In a bold move to spotlight Nigeria’s rich fashion heritage and creative brilliance on the global stage, the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy has issued an open call to Nigerian fashion designers and creatives for its latest initiative — “Nigeria Everywhere: The Creative Collection.”
The programme, officially announced in a press release by Dr Nneka Ikem Anibeze, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, invites skilled designers and artistic professionals to apply for a chance to represent Nigeria at a world-class exhibition.

The selected applicants will not only design exclusive pieces for the Ministry but will also take part in an internationally recognised creative showcase — the Exhibition Weekend at the 68th UN Tourism Commission for Africa (CAF), which is set to take place in June 2025.
A Platform for Global Recognition
According to the Ministry, participants in the “Nigeria Everywhere” collection will benefit from:
- Unique fashion design commissions from the Federal Ministry
- High-profile exposure through both national and international exhibitions
- Opportunities for future residencies, showcases, and collaborations
- A strong platform to display Nigerian culture, creativity, and craftsmanship to a global audience
Who Is Eligible?
The call is open to:
- Established and emerging fashion designers who are actively working within the industry
- Creatives with a strong and compelling portfolio who are open to collaboration and willing to contribute original designs to the collection
The initiative is focused on unearthing top-tier fashion talents across the country who can creatively interpret and reflect Nigeria’s diverse cultural stories and artistic identity.
